SATELLIFE Survey 2004
---------------------

Dear colleagues,

Our recent survey of 8 of our discussion groups yielded phenome-
nal results overall. We sent out more than 10,000 surveys and
received almost 1,300 responses. For our smaller discussion
groups, the response rate ranged from 7-8% and up to 13-20% for
the larger groups. On behalf of SATELLIFE, I would like to thank
all of you for taking the time to complete the survey. Your hon-
est and forthright comments and constructive suggestions are
greatly appreciated. Most of all, we are truly gratified to know
that the information shared in the discussion groups are so
beneficial to you. Measuring the impact of IT in Health is not
always easy. The examples you cited of how you use the informa-
tion leaves no doubt as to the power of the new information
technologies to make a difference in health.

Together with our hardworking and dedicated moderators we will
present a summary of the survey results to the group. You have
presented us with a wealth of information!

We deeply appreciate your support of our information services.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time with your
thoughts and comments. Once again, thank you.

Kind regards,

Leela McCullough, Ed.D.
