IAC2004: President Museveni of Uganda to Answer Your Questions
--------------------------------------------------------------

Leadership Program
XV International AIDS Conference

How are presidents and political leaders responsible to stop the
spread of HIV/AIDS?

Here?s your opportunity to ask them.

Tuesday, July 13th at 16:00, the new Leadership Program will
host an interactive session, "Meet the Leaders: Political Lead-
ership" will answer your questions. Attendees will have the
chance to pose questions personally, from the floor. The goal of
this session is honest and meaningful conversation between a
current political leader and those who are in the field of
HIV/AIDS, and to address difficult issues and controversies head
on within the framework of mutual respect and civility.

Help us start the conversation send in your questions now.

The UN Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS identifies leader-
ship as a central element of an effective response. Experience
has shown that strong national leadership is critical in reduc-
ing the number of new infections and in providing treatment and
care to those already infected. Join the campaign to create uni-
fied, accountable leadership across all sectors of the HIV/AIDS
struggle.

be read and considered for use in the open-house forum session,
"Meet the Leaders: Political Leadership" on Tuesday, July 13th at
the International AIDS Conference in Bangkok, Thailand.
