African Regional Youth Initiative Newsletter: May-July 2004

Dear all,

The African Regional Youth Initiative (ARYI) is a collaboration
of hundreds of youth and community-based projects and organiza-
tions in Africa working to fight HIV/AIDS. We are pleased to an-
nounce the availability of our latest newsletter highlighting:
* Meetings organized by ARYI over the past 2 months in Ghana,
   Washington DC and Liberia;
* Updates on the ARYI Women's Program in Central Africa and the
   AIDS Community Forum in Cameroon;
* A focus on an ARYI member organization in Kenya using the Af-
   rican tradition of theatre to educate about HIV/AIDS; and
* An update on the volunteer program, including an excerpt from
   a report written by a Canadian volunteer who went to work in
   Kenya.
