RFI: Speaker for Commonwealth Summer School in July 2005
--------------------------------------------------------

I am currently investigating the feasibility and scope of a Com-
monwealth Summer School in July 2005 for the Commonwealth Policy
Studies Unit. The aim of the programme would be to inform young
people about today?s Commonwealth and allow people to partici-
pate in some way in Commonwealth activities. For the CPSU it
would be an offshoot of our now concluded civil society project,
and the particular youth friendly emphasis given to it by Mani-
sha Diedrich. The target audience would be those in the 18-30
age bracket who are not currently members of Commonwealth or-
ganisations.

We are hoping to hold a discussion on the role that Commonwealth
Organisations should play in tackling the issue of AIDS. I was
wondering if anyone could suggest any potential London based
speakers. If you have any suggestions or wish for further infor-
mation about the Commonwealth Summer School please
