Africa Losing Nurses to Britain (14)
------------------------------------

I agree too, and you provide insightful comments to the situa-
tion, which I just also know so very well from 15 years of expo-
sure to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique's health
care system. "The right to health" for all, and especially preg-
nant women, is no theoretical concept, but a practical issue
that requires personnel, equipment, skills and time - something
that do not come easy even in our rich part of the world unless
there is consumer rights advocates that raise the issue politi-
cally.

But I am confronted with young nurses decision making every day
as we teach international community health to students from all
over the world, and many simply cannot face going back after
having seen that things can be better. And I had to print one
student's comment so you see it as it is.
