Placental Malaria Increases Mother-to-Child HIV... (3)
------------------------------------------------------
Dear Ellen,
I am working in Mozambique as well and our group has a lot of
experience in the area of PMTCT and operational issues in devel-
oping countries. You can look at our site http://www.icrh.org.
In Mozambique we are more focusing on STI in pregnant women and
in high risk groups, male involvement but shortly will start
something on "how to keep HIV-uninfected women seronegative".
As I am based at Faculty of Medicine, Universidade Eduardo Mond-
lane I could help you getting access to that article, and I am
always interested in discussing our and your activities and see
where we can collaborate. I hereby forward you the reference of
a brief report on a study we've done on Malaria and MTCT.
"Placental Malaria and Perinatal Transmission of Human Immunode-
ficiency Virus Type 1"
JID 2003:188 (1 December)
Feel free to contact me anytime.
