Call for Abstracts
 
Theme:
Linking Research to Policy for Evidence Based Action towards the 
Realization of the MDGs
 
Sub Themes:
1. Evidence Base for Health Systems Development and Management 
in the Context of HIV/AIDS Epidemic
 
2. Community Based Action Research Informing Policy and Practice
 
3. The Role of Universities in Generating Evidence for Policy 
and Action in Solidarity with Disadvantaged Communities
 
The abstracts must be 500 words in length, highlighting only one 
of the sub themes above. The abstracts must have an introduc-
tion, methodologies, findings, conclusions and recommendations. 
 
Deadline for Abstract Submission: 30th January, 2005
 
Registration: Ksh. 2,500 or USD 35 (Includes lunch, 2 teas and 
conference materials).
