Msc Epidemiology course inquiry (4)
-----------------------------------

The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine course is
very good. I have just completed my MSc Epidemiology with the
school (November 2004). I did mine over two years but you are
allowed anything between two and five years. The course is not
exactly online learning but incorporates web conferencing with
other students and tutors. The course material has been prepared
such that it is easy to read and you also get a rough time
guideline as to how much reading you should be doing and when.
They supply you with all the textbooks and by the end of the
course you would have built up your own library with over 30
latest editions of Epi and Biostats textbooks.

I found the whole course quite good and although I was a bit
rushed at times since I aimed at the very fast route (completing
the MSc in two years). I am now looking forward to my graduation
in February and March then hopefully get a job in Africa and
come back home to settle. I am at the moment based in the UK
where I work as a Physiotherapist.

If you require any further information refer to
http://www.lshtm.ac.uk or you can e-mail me and I will be very
happy to help.
