Efforts under way to stem brain drain of doctors...(2)
------------------------------------------------------

The issue of preventing migration of health professional is okay
if it is addressed from the root cause of economic hardship. No
one will like to be a second class citizen anywhere but the
problem of hardship we face as health professional has its root
cause in leadership problem of Africa.

The developed world owed us so much and some questions that may
be of help in this situation are:

- why do we still have stolen money locked abroad without being
released to the country of origin? and

- why is it that this so called developed world still encourage
leaders of our so called continent to steal money and invest
them abroad?

I believe that if funds are difficult to siphon abroad for no
just cause, a new development will start taking place that those
who steal our money will revert to developing their various
countries to make it suitable for their "perceived convenience".
The effect of these developments will be beneficial to their
various populace and resources will then be available for devel-
opment which will to some extent make these professionals stay
at home.
