Tiamiyu Bello-Osagie, eminent Nigerian obstetrician is dead

Eminent Nigerian obstetrician and gynaecologist, Prof. Tiamiyu
Bello-Osagie, personal physician to former military President,
Gen. Ibrahim Babangida and other prominent Nigerians, died of
cancer on March 2, 2005 in a London hospital. He was aged 79.
His remains have been buried in his country home in Benin-City,
Edo State, according to Islamic injunctions.
