RFI: Community based HIV/AIDS risk reduction intervention

Best wishes from Bangladesh.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), a leading NGO in Bangladesh is in
process of developing a community based HIV/AIDS risk reduction
intervention through life skills education for the most vulner-
able population groups (youth and adolescents). We are aware of
the fact that in Africa, possibly many piloting have been con-
ducting in the context (although many things are different in
Bangladesh, there are similarities also in the contexts with Af-
rican countries that Bangladesh is also a populous and poverty-
ridden country).

It would be of great help for us if we could get some of the
project proposals in above contexts of HIV/AIDS from Africa, we
could see the objectives, rationale and the activities they pro-
posed, also their conceptual diagrams and participatory commu-
nity based monitoring and evaluation systems go along with the
sustainability components.
