Vacancy: Chief of Party PHC Program - Azerbaijan

Save the Children, a leading U.S. and international child-
focused relief and development agency seeks a Chief of Party 
(COP) to lead and manage the Primary Health Care Program in 
Azerbaijan, including planning and implementing program strat-
egy, hiring and overall supervision of national and interna-
tional staff, and managing office operations.
 
S/he will be responsible for liaising with USAID and SC's FO and 
headquarters and generating monthly financial and program re-
ports for program activities; manage and monitor all program 
components and implementation and oversee the agreements with 
partner agencies; provide technical support and oversight in key 
program areas, such as health systems reform, primary health 
care, health policy and management and health care financing.  
 
Masters' Requires Degree in Public Health, Health Administration 
or other related field; understanding of and compatible vision 
for Primary Health care strengthening, with a focus on advo-
cacy/networking and organizational management skills develop-
ment; 7-10+ years' demonstrated experience in a senior level 
management position of a health project; familiarity with USAID 
policy required; familiar with political, economic, and social 
issues in Azerbaijan; and regional experience as well as fluency 
in a local language preferred.
