RFI: Performance-based reimbursement

Hello,

I am working on a PhD to develop a model to introduce perform-
ance-based reimbursement to the developing world. I intend to
take Kenya as a case study.

I am particularly interested in the answering the following
questions:

* In what settings is performance-based reimbursement appropri-
ate?

* What is known about design and implementation of performance-
based reimbursement programs?

* What results have been documented on performance-based reim-
bursement in African countries?

* What experience of performance-based reimbursement used be-
tween the government at hospitals is available?

lished) of experiences in any of the areas listed above, I would
