Looking for health and disability information?
----------------------------------------------
Innovative new design for health and disability information web-
site http://www.asksource.info
Visit the new Source website to see our fresh new design, offer-
ing:
- User friendly, accessible searching of 25,000 health and dis-
ability resources
- The opportunity to promote your organisation and materials
through the site
- Signposting to key resources in priority topic areas
- Free subscription to bi-monthly 'What's new in Source' e-mail
bulletin
- Information and support for resource centres
Highlighting selected and reviewed resources People interested
in health and disability issues worldwide can search Source's
user friendly databases, containing relevant information re-
sources that have been fed into Source directly from programmes
in developing countries. Read abstracts, locate distributors,
and click on links to full text documents online.
New browsable topic areas are dedicated to disability, inclusion
and development; HIV and AIDS; mother and child health; and par-
ticipatory communication, and feature Source's successful Key
lists of essential resources. Key list titles include HIV/AIDS
and disability, Nutrition and development, Communication for so-
cial change, Culture and development, plus many more.
Gathering resources from the places that count
Development practitioners are encouraged to promote their own
resources and contacts by adding them directly to the new site.
If suitable their materials will appear in the following issue
of 'What's new in Source', sent to 2000 key organisations and
individuals across the world and forwarded to many online dis-
cussion lists.
What's new in Source
Visitors to http://www.asksource.info can also sign up to re-
ceive the bi-monthly 'What's new in Source' email bulletin, giv-
ing them details of all the latest resources added to Source. If
you can't access the Source website, email
crowe.m@healthlink.org.uk to sign up for 'What's new in Source'.

aspects of setting up and running a resource centre in the new
'Support for resource centres' section of the Source website.
