Dear Ghislaine,

Your observations are interesting. I am to speak on the topic
of: Is there truly a gender divide? I was just thinking, it is
more created by us and instead, we can look at integrating both
genders and also the neutral genders in the various activities
of society including ICT. You have now raised the issue!!

I addressed about 50 odd women kiosk operators under the RASI
programme in Tamil Nadu, South India, coordinated by n-Logue and
TeNet, IIT, Chennai.

Though the kiosk operation and loan is mainly for women - house-
wives, to empower them, some deserving men have also been con-
sidered and included. The ratio may be 90:10.
