Dear Claudio,

I am not sure, if my comments are welcome or would be to cross
purpose, as I have not been following the thread on "Food for a
not fairly treated".

However, I am unable to restrain myself from commenting, for
what it is worth!!

Import of food or any material by any region/country should be
resorted to only when local production, cannot meet the demand
and that too, at a price more than the local price of produce,
so as not to discourage local production, and prevent dumping,
as there is no transparency in world food production/subsidy by
countries.

WTO should take this into consideration.
