Dear All,

I strongly salute all women around the world, especially those
in Africa and the middle East, who keep the social fabric of so-
ciety together amidst the chaos. Please join me in applauding
all mothers, sisters, women and girls of all walks this day for
their tireless role to promote peace and security, health and
sustainable development.

I had an opportunity yesterday to represent my fellow men in
this event, and the pictures will remain standing in the room
for the next two weeks - the entire duration of the CSW confer-
ence.

I call on men this day to STOP! LISTEN! and appreciate the very
important WOMEN of this world.
