Shame and Pain Torment Fistula Sufferers (2)

Thank you for this information. It is sad although very timely
and informative for us the team that is preparing the 2006
Uganda Demographic and Health Survey. In this round of these
surveys we have included a question on fistula to try and col-
lect some statistics on this problem in Uganda. Statistics on
fistula is generally scanty but this time we shall have a Na-
tional figure.
