Helicobacter pullorum, an emerging pathogen

The lecture describes briefly the aetiology, prevalence and mode
of transmission of Helicobacter pullorum. In addition, the way
how to treat an infection with this bacterial agent is being
discussed. Also the possible virulence factors (like CDT) and
the detection methods are presented. Since H. pullorum is a
'new' bacterial agent, much more research needs to be performed.
