WHO Laboratory Twinning Initiative: Call for expressions of in-
terest

The WHO Lyon Office for National Epidemic Preparedness and Re-
sponse (LYO), Department of Epidemic and Pandemic Alert and Re-
sponse (EPR) is calling for expressions of interest in a project
to strengthen the capacity of resource-limited laboratories in
support of the detection, investigation and response to epidem-
ics. The project is based on establishing a twinning mechanism
between public health laboratories in developing countries and
specialized institutions. More background information on the
