Brain Drain from Africa

Dear Friends,
 
One of the ways of tackling the brain drain problem in Africa is 
for African countries to open up their borders to neighbouring 
African countries like the EU has done. This will increase move-
ment of labour throughout African countries. Nigeria, for exam-
ple has more than enough doctors who are jobless. They can eas-
ily find jobs in other countries if the border and visa restric-
tions are removed. The United Nations can also tap the human re-
sources of endowed African countries to help the needy African 
countries with their financial backing.
