World Bank accused of deception over malaria funding (2)
--------------------------------------------------------
Wow imagine that? The World Bank is unfit for the task of lead-
ing the world to "control malaria". First of all the World Bank
if it wanted to do something constructive could research malaria
and places that have controlled malaria successfully. This would
lead to the logical conclusion that controlling mosquitoes makes
malaria go away. How long would that take? If they were at all
competent a month or two, extreme would be a year.
The only conclusion that I come up with is controlling malaria
is not on their agenda. It is easier to hold meetings, stay in
fancy hotels, give lip service to anyone asking pointed ques-
tions, buy a few million bed nets and call it done. The next
year there is still a problem and they can get more millions to
repeat their mistakes. The people who are responsible know that
if you actually do control malaria eventually most of these
funds will dry up, and their gravy train goes away.
These people are directly responsible for untold millions of
deaths from diseases like malaria. They should be fired and
jailed for wasting and stealing funds that could directly save
children's lives. Perhaps if they were imprisoned other would be
thieves would take note and at least do the right thing. I'm
sure there are funds aplenty to enrich themselves, but they have
gotten greedy and deserve nothing but contempt.
INSANITY: Doing the same thing over and over again the same way
and expecting a different result.
