Foodborne illness in Malta

The lecture is focused on foodborne illness caused by consuming
contaminated foods or beverages in Malta in the period 1992-
2005. Furthemore is described the source of outbreak in the is-
land in 2005, the Food legislation and the activity of the De-
partment of Public Health, Disease Surveillance Unit.
