[Message from the Moderator: Thank you colleagues for your kind 
messages thanking and congratulating Dieter for a job well done over 
the last 10 years and welcoming me as your new moderator, which are 
greatly appreciated. Dieter and myself would however like to request

Janet and others have said it all on our behalf.  Just wanted to add on 
a more personal note that about a decade ago, I was privileged enough 
to have met both Dieter and his successor Brian, in Arusha and Harare.  
Thank you Dieter for your selfless service, I hope you will still be 
available for other roles in the region. As for Brian, we say, 
'Karibuni" ndugu.
