Change of Moderation for AFRO-NETS (11)

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of SATELLIFE, I would like to add a final note of gratitude 
to Dieter Neuvians who for ten years has been the stalwart moderator of 
AFRO-NETS. I still have our first email message from May 21, 1996 when 
we broached the idea of starting an electronic discussion group on 
applied research in Africa! SATELLIFE set up and managed the technology 
platform and Dieter became the moderator. We launched AFRO-NETS on 
November 12, 1996 and the rest is history.

Dieter's commitment to creating a space for frank and open discussion 
of important health issues in Africa and thoughtful moderation of 
messages has contributed to the unique character of AFRO-NETS. A 
challenging job which Dieter managed so well.

Thank you Dieter for your years of dedicated service and welcome to our 
new moderator, Dr. Brian Pazvakavambwa!
