Antimicrobial resistance in food and clinical Aeromonas isolates

Aeromonas spp. have been considered important pathogens for cold and 
warm-blooded organisms. The study of antimicrobial resistance of 
aeromonads is important to assist clinical management and to allow the 
development of empirical therapeutic strategies  The objective of this 
lecture is to point to the aspects on the resistance of food and 
clinical Aeromonas spp., mechanisms of resistance and their molecular 
basis.
