Art'ishake Second Edition is now Out! Submission deadline 30th June

We are excited to inform you about the launch of art'ishake no.2. If you are interested in receiving the document, please email us at artishake@art4development.net. art'ishake aims to provide an outlet for interdisciplinary, cross-cultural, and international exploration of the concepts and practices of creative and arts-infused development projects. 
 
In this issue of art'ishake you will find stories of artists and development organizations from Australia to Ukraine; illustrations, photos, images of sculptures, and paintings from Italy, Morocco, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Vietnam; poetry from South Africa, Nigeria and India; and opinions, projects, and studies from China, UK to Finland, Canada. From fashion shows to photo exhibitions, arts made of sand, fabrics, sounds, actions, or vibrant oil paint have been utilized to address vital human and social challenges: HIV/AIDS, education, poverty, human rights, identity, urbanization, environmentalism, and more.
