Dear Jeff:

In Line 1, paragraph 6 of your recent contribution on "Eliminating world poverty: making governance work for the poor, no 28", you stated and I quote:  "One could argue that say in the case of country like Nigeria, democracy is unworkable and........." Can you kindly expantiate on what you mean by that and why or how you arrived at such a conclusion in your 'thesis'
