You may be interested to know that SciDev.Net has published a news story about HIV/AIDS journalism in Africa and Asia.
 
A report by the International Federation of Journalists concludes that African and Asian media outlets could play a bigger role in mitigating the HIV/AIDS epidemic, but are not giving the topic enough coverage.
