RFI: Addition to Nicotine Depedence Replacement Therapy

I am looking for information on risks of possible addiction to Nicotine Replacement therapy (NRT) drugs. For persons trying to give up smoking, NRT is available as chewing gums or dermal patch or inhaler. In most countries, these are available as over-the-counter drugs from pharmacies and chemists.

I would like to know if there are any concerns regarding possible addiction of minors specifically to chewing gum such as Nicorette containing Nicotine.
