RFI: Documents that inspire students to work towards social justice

Dear Health Activist Friends,

I teach a public health course to students of natural medicine and am searching for new readings that inspire students to learn about and work towards social justice, and to see its connection to health. Any articles, books or other readings you know of, particularly available electronically, that show how health workers can make a positive impact on community health by working for income equity, for women's rights, ecological development, community development and sustainability, or other related areas would be great. I provide them with a "determinants of health" approach and am most hopefully that they will be uplifted by the course readings so that they redesign their careers towards making the world a healthier place!!
