Human Rights Court That Countries Have to Answer to (2)
-------------------------------------------------------
Thank goodness that the US is not a member of this so called "court". I
know that everyone likes to think that they are for human rights, I am
too. But what power do they really have? Are they extracting huge fines
from China, N Korea or Somalia? The author of this article chastises
the US for "defying" rulings from this court that is in all likelyhood
anti-American anyway.
The US, a sovereign nation that does a pretty good job on human rights
and helping out everyone and anyone (including our enemies). This is
the problem with trying to establish a court which tries to set itself
up over other nations. Unless laws are similar from country to country
then who is right? The UN has tried to hold the US in contempt for
years for violation of treaties such as calling for the disarming of
its citizenry. This would be a direct violation of the very foundation
of our liberties and the rule of law established by the founding
fathers.
Now I realize that some of you out there think that this is a good
idea, I however believe it is the very foundation of liberty. Fear the
politician that fears your gun cause he's up to no good. Confirming
"gay" rights is another reason that I would not approve of this
"court". This is # 26 on the Communist goals listed in the
Congressional Record in 1963.

The list should shock anyone who will notice the things that have
already taken place, and yet this court wants to impose it's will on
others, even in moral matters.
