National Health Conference 2006: Call for Expression of Interest
as National Consultants

Dear Colleagues,

As Nigeria moves towards democratically transiting from a sitting 
President to a new one, the Senate Health Committee and the Health 
Reform Foundation of Nigeria (HERFON) invite the interest of eligible 
national consultants for the following consultancies available for the 
organization of the National Health Conference (NHC) 2006:

i.)  Event Management (Ref. NHC1-1EM)
ii.) Media Management (Ref. NHC1-2MMM)
iii.) Sessions Facilitation i.e. Speakers, Speech writers, Rapporteurs 
(Ref. NHC1-3SF)
iv.) Reports Writing (Ref. NHC1-4RW)
v.)  Writing of lead papers (ref. NHC1-5LPW)

The NHC has become imperative as an all-embracing fast-tracking effort 
to urgently focus on 'Health in Nigeria in the 21st Century - 
Sustaining the Reforms Beyond 2007'; while the outputs of the 
conference shall be vigorously marketed to all stakeholders in the 
Nigerian Health Sector, nationally and internationally.

This opportunity is open to individuals and corporate entities that 
have been with reliable experience in organizing national conferences 
especially related to health and development.

Interested national consultants (persons and organizations) are 
requested to send 'Expressions of Interest' in the English language 
consisting of a capability statement of no more than 5 pages, abridged 
relevant CVs, summary company profile (where applicable), and 
supporting references. Prices are not needed at the expression of 
interest stage; however, when required, all prices must be in Naira, 
and all payments under the contract will be made in Naira. All

Verification of claims and interviews will take place within one week 
from the 19 September 2006. Only short listed candidates will receive 
further correspondence on their application.
