Food for a thought whose time has come (3)
-----------------------------------------
I get a kick out of so-called experts who think that it is prudent to advocate a global governance ie New World Order while advocating human rights.
Human Rights might mean different things to different people, but that aside let us bring personal freedom to the fore. People in country A may object to what Country B C and D think is good for all. So is it really human rights to expect A to shut up and accept the others ideas or ideals? Is this true freedom?
There are many so-called violations of the US with UN treaties but to come into compliance would directly violate our laws and the Constitution/ Bill of Rights which are the concrete pillars of our Republic.
Freedom is the key which all must strive for, with it transparency and independence will follow close behind. Until people start demanding true personal freedom and not accepting anything else, nothing will change and human rights is not worth talking about. How can a country which enslaves it's citizens or does not allow it's citizenry to be free grant them human rights. They are subjects and are useful to make them wealthy by whatever means is convenient.
It sounds good and idealistic to advocate human rights but 10 people will give you 10 answers all of which will be different. Personal Freedom however will allow all to have rights which we have because we are human and alive.
Cheers
