Looking back at trial closures over the past year (2)

Omololu,

My take on Microbicides has always been that rather focus on new
technologies, we should concentrate more of our energies on VCT
and other such services that are already in place, replicate and
scale-up those that are working, while we continue evaluation
and steady monitoring of those that have produced little
results.

I hope that the results of some of these studies will inform
public health practitioners that rather focus our energies on
new technologies that serve the same purpose, we can improve on
what we know and deliver effective services to those who need
them most.
