Dear Friends,

Thanks for the overwhelming interest in the national abstinence
leadership workshop. It promises to be a most rewarding
experience. Here's the outline of activities and the venues for
them. If you would like to participate, reply to this posting
ASAP.

Activities for the 3rd National Abstinence Leadership Training
Workshop

Day 1(October 10, 2006)
All State Abstinence March & Rally with musical funfair from
Maryland to national Stadium starting by 9.00am

Day 2 (October 11, 2006) @ Nigeria Institute of Medical
Research, Edmund Crescent, Behind Lagos Presbyterian Church,
Yaba Bus Terminal by 9.00am:

1. Update on the global and national HIV/AIDS situation
2. Emerging issues in HIV/AIDS prevention and control in Nigeria
3. Parental involvement in Abstinence educational programmes
4. Position of Children Parliament on Abstinence lifestyle

Day 3 (October 12, 2006) @ Nigeria Institute of Medical
Research, Edmund Crescent, Behind Lagos Presbyterian Church,
Yaba Bus Terminal by 9.00am:

1. Abstinence educational methods: The HOPE Worldwide-Nigeria
experience
2. Fundraising for Abstinence programmes
3. Stakeholders' input to Nigeria Abstinence Coalition
curriculum
4. Re-launch of "Project One Million Abstinence/Fidelity
Advocates" programme.
