Right to food in UN General Assembly (2)
---------------------------------------

I wish that Prensa Latina article had been clearer about what it was referring to.

It was indeed the annual UN General Assembly resolution on the right to food.

Unfortunately, the US position on this is very clear. It is the only country in the world that stands up in public to speak against the concept that adequate food is a human right. I have a chapter that discusses the US position in my book, Freedom from Want: The Human Right to Adequate Food.

It's embarrassing.
