Chemical disinfectants commonly used in the poultry sector and their impact on Salmonella

The lecture reports the use of disinfectants in the poultry sector and their impact on Salmonella.For Salmonella, no associations between 
disinfectant MICs and persistence or the use of disinfectants on farms. Disinfectant adaptation and de-adaptation studies did not alter MICs. 
Worst-case scenario surface disinfection test results were significantly related to different farm disinfectants, bacteria, and type of organic matter.
