RFI: Intra Uterine Contraceptive Device and "STI" (7)
-----------------------------------------------------

Dear Daniel,

I am Lucy from Kenya. I am a nurse by profession and a
professional counselor.

I have read your mail and share your concerns. I can imagine you
are feeling disturbed with the situation. Your wife needs to
know that blaming each other will not help the situation. The
fact that she is having STI does not mean that you are the one
who infected her. Now that she has the infection, the most
reasonable way for both of you is to visit the clinic together
so that you can be given health education together.

STIs need early treatment, otherwise there are consequences of
delayed treatment as you may be aware.

I hope you will get this sorted out.

Thanks.
