RFI: Faculty Practice guidelines

Hello everyone,

Faculty practice is one of the strategies used to improve care and keep faculty current.  Currently, we are debating on this issue.  We are in the developing world. I am interested in hearing from Nurse Educators from the developing and developed world about their experiences in the area with regards to:-

1. The types of models or frameworks used successfully
2. What service/university structures are useful?
3. Polices for faculty practice
4. Benefits/constraints for the university and the service
5. Challenges that are faced by educators/faculty
