Happy to be part of the AFRO-NETS e-family

Thank you for including me on the mailing list.

My daughter and I have a passion for serving the disadvantaged. We both would like to pursue counseling and related projects management. Whilst I am in full time employment as a Merchandise Manager for Tedco, my future lies in Social work, interacting with people and helping them to find value in their lives no matter how disadvantaged their background could have been. My daughter is pursuing a Psychology degree with AU beginning August this year and intends to pursue social work immediately after that. In between, we both would like to attend courses that will introduce us into the field we eventually want to end up.

I will be accessing the afro-nets mail mostly for the announcement of meetings, training courses and other event of interest as part and parcel of our own personal growth into our passion area.
