Please read this very interesting news--in English and French?concerning a scientific conference focused on "Health and Environmental Research Challenges in Urban poor settlements" planned for Ivory Coast, West Africa, 3-5 September 2007. The conference is being co-organized by NCCR-NS (National Center for Competences and Research-North South), the Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques in Côte d'Ivoire and the Swiss Academy of Science.
