Thank you for your interest (and patience) shown in our first call.
The African Vision Research Institute is proud to announce its INTRODUCTORY RESEARCH METHODOLOGY COURSE.
The course will be suitable for:
Eyecare Professionals, NGO's, Departments of Health, Skills Development Facilitators, Researchers at Academic and Research Institutions, Academia at tertiary institutions, Researchers, Post-Graduate Students, Research Project Managers in public, private and Non-Governmental Sectors.
Amongst others, the course will cover:
Intro to Epidemiology
- Measuring Health (Rates, ratios, proportions, incidence, prevalence)
- Descriptive Epidemiology

Summarising, presenting and interpreting data

- Data management - collection, cleaning and analyzing

- Education
