[afro-nets] RFI: Snake Repellant (2)

In Ghana, traditionally, farmers would rub their lower legs and feet with raw onions as a snake repellant-- snakes apparently don?t like the smell of onions.

In Sierra Leone, it is still common to find Datura (inoxia?) planted around the periphery of houses (literally along the walls) to drive away snakes as evidently they don?t like this plant either.
