Craig,
While I think it is good to have a diversity of views...All I can say is that be careful. There is point where those denying something that
becomes increasingly obvious to the rest of humanity lose their credibility as serious, professional and informed thinkers. The Global Warming deniers are fast reaching this point.
In terms of the link between global warming and climate change, if you can accept the possibility of climate change as a reality then it would be logical based on the scientific understanding of climate change and its expected impacts on the global ecosystems that there would be an impact on both human and ecosystem health. Additionally some are talking about the possible synergistic impact of climate change and other health issues such as malaria, AIDS, pollution, water scarcity (people drinking polluted water), crop losses (lack of balanced healthy diets), etc in terms of reducing overall human health. Specifically we are talking about the impact of climate change in terms of potentially and possibly exacerbating the above mentioned problems, given the projected impacts of Climate Change. There are some indications that tropical regions with marginal precipitation will be particularly hard hit.
