Book Works has published 'Child Health Care', an innovative new coursebook for nurses, doctors and students. The book is available online for free at http://www.childhealthcare.co.za.

Written by paediatrics author Professor David Woods, and funded in large part by the non-profit organisation Eduhealthcare, the book is based on the highly successful Perinatal Education Programme.

Child Health Care focuses on solving practical problems and on taking a simple, logical approach to common paediatric disorders. It includes clear, step-by-step guides through definitions, causes, diagnoses, prevention, dangers and management, and case studies. The book can be used as a training course or as a reference manual for professionals and students.
