Just as a small follow-up to Henrietta's note about the Malawi work: if anyone is interested in the ways in which this work has evolved since then, and would like to hear how it has progressed in Mocambique, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia (along with materials etc), please do email me.
This will be particularly interesting to those interested in the evolution of groups to become socially inclusive and more supportive. Naturally, this is all linked with reduction in social inequalities that lead to inequalities in health.
I was advising all these projects on this process, but left CARE in July and now work as an independent consultant.
