The African Journal of Information Systems

Founded with support from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the International Center for IT and Development (http://www.icitd.com/> ), the African Journal of Information Systems (AJIS) provides a high caliber scholarly research journal in information and communication technology (ICT).
With a very strong editorial and international advisory board of some of the top scholars in IS, the focus of AJIS is to acquaint a broad audience of readers in the variety of intellectual traditions included under the rubric of ICT in Africa.
Therefore, the journal aims at disseminating research on the transfer, diffusion, and adoption of ICT within the context of Africa; the innovation and development of ICT solutions for and within this context; impacts of ICT on society and of society on ICT; and other relevant normative, empirical, and theoretical concerns of ICT development, implementation, strategy, management and policy that are distinctive to Africa and associated developing economies.
Become a Pioneer Contributor to the Inaugural Volume of the African Journal of Information Systems (http://www.ajis.org/ ). The inaugural volume of the journal will be published in two issues. Submission to the first issue of the journal is closed. However, we invite you to submit your papers for the second issue of this inaugural volume.
The theme of the inaugural volume is:
"Salient issues in IS/IT research in Africa: Where do we go from here?"
We encourage you to submit your work in (but not limited to):
