PhD Studentships in West Africa: The Gambia

LEADING SCIENCE FOR BETTER HEALTH
MRC (UK), The Gambia invites applications, from African and UK citizens only, for its three full-time PhD studentships in any of the project areas outlined below:

*   Proteomic Fingerprinting Methods for HCC Determination
*   Persistent Malaria Parasitaemia - Friend Or Foe?
*   Pneumococcal Vaccination Effectiveness in The Gambia

The Studentships will start in October 2008, and will be full-time for three years, involving collaboration with MRC The Gambia and a UK institution. Full financial support will be provided, including a travel allowance.
