Postgraduate admission in 2010

Applications are invited for admission in 2010 to the following programmes:

MSc in EPIDEMIOLOGY in the field of EPIDEMIOLOGY AND BIOSTATISTICS
For students who wish to pursue a career in research, this one year full-time ( 3 years part-time) masters course includes extensive computer-based training in epidemiology and biostatistics, with an introductory course in demography, research ethics and surveillance. Selective options include communicable, non-communicable and clinical epidemiology. A limited number of fellowships are available through TDR (WHO).

MSc in EPIDEMIOLOGY in the field of POPULATION-BASED FIELD EPIDEMIOLOGY: Develops capacity of researchers in longitudinal data management in order to respond to the key public health challenges of the developing countries. The course includes epidemiology, biostatistics, management of relational databases and leadership in research. Coursework is 18 months full time with a 6-month field placement. Limited number of fellowships available through INDEPTH and from TDR/WHO.
